The aluminum foil reflects over 95% of radiant heat, while the closed-cell XPE foam structure delivers a low thermal conductivity of 0.032–0.041 W/(m·K), effectively blocking heat transfer to keep spaces cool in summer and warm in winter.
The self-adhesive backing makes installation incredibly simple – just peel off the release liner and press firmly onto walls, roofs, pipes, or equipment surfaces. No extra glue or tools required. Aluminum Foil XPE Foam (Self-Adhesive Type) is a multifunctional composite material integrating thermal insulation, soundproofing, and moisture protection. It is manufactured by laminating high-purity aluminum foil with electronically cross-linked polyethylene (XPE) foam, coated on the back with a water-resistant, high-temperature-resistant pressure-sensitive adhesive protected by a release liner. Simply peel and stick – no additional tools or adhesives required.
Compared with traditional EPE foam, XPE features a finer cell structure, higher tensile strength, and longer service life, making it the preferred substrate for high-quality insulation materials. The product complies with internationalenvironmental and safety standards including REACH, RoHS, and CE, ensuring it is non-toxic, odorless, and safe for indoor use.
