Product Details
1. Product OverviewOpen Cell EPDM Sponge Rubber is a lightweight, flexible, and resilient foam material made from 100% EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) rubber, featuring a uniform interconnected open‑cell structure. It delivers outstanding weatherability, UV/ozone resistance, and excellent compression recovery, ideal for outdoor sealing, cushioning, vibration damping, and sound absorption applications.
2. Key Features
Open‑cell structure: Interconnected pores ensure excellent breathability, air circulation, and sound absorption.
Superior weather resistance: Outstanding UV, ozone, and aging resistance; performs well outdoors long‑term.
Extreme temperature tolerance: Operates reliably from ‑40°C to +120°C (‑40°F to 248°F).
Low compression set: Excellent recovery after repeated compression, maintaining shape and performance.
Chemical resistance: Resists acids, alkalis, and oxidizing agents; suitable for harsh industrial environments.
Lightweight & conformable: Soft, flexible, and easy to cut; fits irregular surfaces perfectly.
