PE Composited Insulation Tube Series are a highly effective insulation material made from closed-cell foamed polyethylene, primarily used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as in refrigeration and air conditioning systems. These insulating tubes typically have a multilayer structure (usually including an outer layer with a rough, weather-resistant surface) and are used to cover copper or aluminum pipes to prevent condensation and reduce heat loss.

Product Details

PE Composited Insulation Tube Series

Our embossed polyethylene insulation sleeves feature a three-layer structure: the outer layer is embossed, providing a smooth, attractive surface, and is resistant to aging and ultraviolet rays; the inner layer consists of closed-cell foam, manufactured using a unique formula, which has excellent thermal insulation properties and retains its shape at temperatures up to 95 °C; This insulation sleeve consists of two assembled tubes, ensuring easy disassembly, convenient installation, and an attractive appearance. When used with copper or copper-aluminum pipes, they are the optimal choice for connecting the indoor and outdoor units of air conditioners.

These sleeves are made of closed-cell polyethylene (PE), have no seams or cracks, feature low water absorption and excellent thermal insulation properties, and do not cause corrosion of steel and copper pipes. The surface of the sleeve can be coated with a layer of embossed polyethylene. These sleeves are widely used as insulation sleeves for air conditioners and as protective sleeves for metal pipes.

Key Features and Specifications:

• Construction: The outer layer consists of a protective embossed polyethylene (PE) film, while the inner layer features an independent bubble foam structure to ensure thermal insulation.

• Types: Available in single-pipe or double-pipe (twin-pipe) configurations

• Heat Resistance: The product offers overall heat resistance. Certain series can withstand temperatures up to 120 °C (available in 80 °C or 120 °C specifications, including fire-resistant options)

• Water Resistance/Chemical Resistance: Low water absorption rate and excellent water resistance; does not cause corrosion to metal pipes

• Installation: Highly flexible and lightweight, typically designed for easy cutting, enabling quick and aesthetically pleasing installation.

• Applications: Suitable for split-type air conditioners, central air conditioning systems, hot and cold water piping, and automotive air conditioning; particularly suitable for high-rise buildings and industrial projects

General Product Specifications

 • Material: Cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) or low-density foamed polyethylene (LDPE/IXPE) .

• Thermal Conductivity: <0.043 W/m·K

• Inner Diameter: Typically 6 mm to 40 mm or more

• Wall Thickness: 8 mm to 20 mm

Thanks to their strength and resistance to aging, these insulated pipes are widely used in the construction of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, as well as refrigeration networks.
